This privacy policy applies to the Skarbly app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Krystsina Chukhlei (collectively, the "Application"). Krystsina Chukhlei is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
The Application stores the content you save (screenshots, images, PDF files, web links, titles, and tags) locally on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, this content is also stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit) associated with your Apple Account so that it can be synchronized across your devices. In that case, Apple Inc. acts as a hosting service provider (data processor) for this content.
The content is stored in your private iCloud database. The Service Provider has no independent access to it and cannot read the content you save. Content you save is never transmitted to the Service Provider's own servers.
You can disable iCloud sync in your device settings and delete saved content at any time within the Application.
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use SDKs, identifiers, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
Where the GDPR or equivalent data protection law applies, the Service Provider processes personal data on the following legal bases:
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data; have it corrected; have it deleted; restrict its processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (data portability); and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, contact the Service Provider at skarbly.support@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. The lead supervisory authority for the Service Provider is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office of Poland (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
The Service Provider does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at skarbly.support@gmail.com.
The Service Provider shares limited personal data with third-party service providers (data processors) only to the extent necessary to operate the Application: pseudonymous device and usage data with analytics and crash-reporting providers (only where you have opted in), and purchase and subscription data with the Service Provider's subscription-management provider.
This data may include device identifiers, device model, operating system version, app version, usage events, crash logs, and subscription status. Such data is pseudonymous rather than anonymous and is treated as personal data under applicable law.
These providers process data on the Service Provider's behalf and may not use it for their own independent purposes, except as described in their own privacy policies linked below. The content you save through the Application is not shared with any of these providers.
The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own privacy policies about handling data. Below are the links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
The Service Provider may disclose automatically collected information:
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms:
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.
Analytics and crash reporting are disabled by default. You may enable or disable them at any time in the Application's settings.
You can stop all further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling will stop the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to third-party processors.
To request deletion of your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to exercise any of your rights, contact the Service Provider at skarbly.support@gmail.com.
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
Content you save through the Application is retained on your device and in your own iCloud account for as long as you keep it, and is deleted when you delete it. The Service Provider does not control the retention of this content and cannot delete it on your behalf.
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it, by contacting the Service Provider at skarbly.support@gmail.com.
The Application is not directed to children under 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the higher age of digital consent applicable in your jurisdiction (up to 16 in certain EEA countries under Article 8 GDPR). The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where the applicable age of digital consent has not been reached, the Application may be used only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, where such use is permitted by law. If the Service Provider discovers that personal data has been collected from a child in violation of applicable law, the Service Provider will delete this data without undue delay.
If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at skarbly.support@gmail.com so that the necessary actions can be taken.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains. Content you save is protected by the security of your device and of your Apple Account; the Service Provider strongly recommends keeping both protected with a passcode and two-factor authentication.
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at skarbly.support@gmail.com.
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or questions about these practices, please contact the Service Provider by email at skarbly.support@gmail.com.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-09-04.
